COOL CLIMA 2008 - held in May within Aqua-therm Kiev 2008 in Pavilion 3 of the IEC - was a great success ! Leading international and local companies have participated in the event presenting a complete overview of the latest technological applications relating to air-conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration and industrial cooling.

COOL CLIMA 2008 has gathered 96 leading international exhibitors coming from 10 countries covering an exhibition surface of more than 6.000 sq.mt.
Both exhibitors and visitors of COOL CLIMA 2008 appreciated that the exhibition was held in a separate Pavilion because such positioning attracted the right target of visitors. Considering this fact and the dynamic development of the air-conditioning, ventilation and cooling sectors in Ukraine, the organizers have decided that from 2009 the COOL CLIMA exhibition would have been held in a different period and separately from Aqua-therm Kiev.

FGK has again supported Aqua-Therm - Cool Clima 2008. Are you satisfied about it?
We are more than satisfied. The Aqua-Therm 2008 and Cool Clima 2008 presented again a wide range of products and systems of air-conditioning and ventilation technology. The German exhi-bitors showed the latest technologies to optimize the energy efficiency in technical building equipments: innovated ventilating systems for residential buildings, energy efficient air handling units, heat recovery systems and modern VRF-systems were shown in Kiev. So not only we as the German association and sponsor of the fair were satisfied, also our members and the German exhibitors were absolutely satisfied with the fair, the high quality of the visitors and the organization of the fair.
How do you see the Ukrainian market of air-conditioning and ventilation?
I’m sure there will be an enormous development in the market, especially in the new building sector. But, nevertheless, we hope that the quality claim in the components of technical building equipments that are planned will increase.
How do you see the further development of the Air-conditioning and Ventilation market in Ukraine and of Aqua-Therm - Cool Clima Kiev ?
I’m also sure that the positive development will refer in all sectors of AC and ventilation: central systems for residential buildings will be demanded as well as high quality systems for commercial buildings. Regarding the current situation of the energy prices and the requirements in energy saving and environmental protection I think that the demand for energy efficient systems will be growing in the next years. The fair has to meet these requirements and has to focus a high technology claim of its exhibitors.
